Best thing about a girl and guy's friendship.

I have never felt short of friends, both girls and boys included. But there is something about being friends with a girl, which a guy-guy friendship cannot offer.

The open talks

If you are a guy and going through a situation, its rare that you’ll share it with other guys. And even if you do, you’ll hardly talk about your hidden feelings. A guy would probably help his friend by distracting him from the situation, pretending as if nothing happened and at times will take him for a drink. On the other hand, a girl would help him by making him confront his feelings. They have this magical power to help you open up. They will listen to you properly, hold your hand and won’t call you names even if you get emotional.

2. The perspectives

Being a guy you already have a guy’s perspective towards everything. You don’t really need another guy to give you a different insight. Its going to be similar in most cases. But a girl always offers a different and fresh perspective. They can help you with your crushes by telling you the best way you could approach them, by telling you the things a girl appreciates and also what they resent. All in all, you wouldn’t have to use your own head to decipher a girl when you already have another one by your side.

3. The understanding

When you have a girl who has been friends with you for years, they will have a pin-point idea of your every move. Just by looking at you, they would know what’s going in your head. Not saying that a guy friend won’t be able to tell. But I’ll give a little edge to a guy-girl friendship. They will be able to read you and most of the time will know what would make you feel better.

4. The ‘being childish’ thing

Guys do a lot of stuff, and most of them can be categorized under either ‘crazy’ or ‘weird’. But a guy can only be stupid, idiot and do some childish acts in front of a girl. You can go all “awwww” in front of them without being mocked. There is whole another dimension of you which gets revealed in front of them, which you wouldn’t do even unintentionally with guys.

5. The comfort zone

Comparing the level of comfort guys face with either gender varies randomly. There is no definite answer. But there is simply a different kind of comfort a guy can enjoy only with a with a female, be it your mom, sister, friend or a girlfriend. All of these can be your friend at some stage. They can play all sorts of roles in your life. And they are an absolute necessity in anyone’s life.
